Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenrick Nikil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McCullen Destro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikil comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. Destro has chosen Cobra as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nikil drives through and clinches with Destro against the cage.
Destro trying to land knees to the body.

Nikil turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nikil manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Destro tries to buck Nikil off but Nikil is having none of it.

Nikil looks up at the clock and then as Destro takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nikil smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nikil scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Destro to see if he's OK.
Nikil lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Destro looks winded!
Destro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nikil wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nikil grinds an elbow into Destro 's temple.
Nikil is chipping away with strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Nikil connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Destro some visible discomfort.
