Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Paul Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mali fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mali fedor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from fedor.

Laurent throws and low kick but fedor moves out of range easily.

Laurent closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Laurent works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Laurent is looking to take a break and control but fedor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

fedor looks like he's trying to stand up.

Laurent is working for a kimura here but fedor manages to reverse the position and he's now in Laurent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as fedor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

fedor dances in with a quick combination. Laurent is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from fedor snaps Laurent's head back. Laurent stumbles backwards against the cage. fedor steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Laurent's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Laurent just didn't come prepared.
