The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Monk Blidiot has been cut.
Sparks could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Blidiot looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sparks shoots in and bounces Blidiot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Blidiot is working an open guard so Sparks takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Sparks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blidiot paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sparks tries to clinch but Blidiot is having none of it.

so Blidiot counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
