Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darth Paduwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kung Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paduwan comes to the cage accompanied by Bitch. Chen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Sabbath - War Pigs. Kung Chen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paduwan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chen swats away the attempt to clinch by Paduwan .
Chen lands a head kick. Paduwan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Chen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Paduwan .
A low kick from Chen misses
and Paduwan counters with a series of strikes. Chen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kung Chen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chen lands a right hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chen throws a good cross that connects.
Paduwan lands with a shot to the body.
Paduwan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Chen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Chen moves to clinch but Paduwan breaks away
and Paduwan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Chen. Those never looked like landing.

Paduwan stuns Chen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Paduwan swats away the attempt to clinch by Chen.
Chen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chen tries to land a front kick but Paduwan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Chen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Paduwan throws out a powerful jab.
Chen takes one on the button.
Chen closes the distance but Paduwan moves to the side
and Paduwan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Paduwan checks a leg kick.
Chen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Paduwan closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Chen is rocked!

Paduwan misses with a straight left.
Chen is still on wobbly legs! Can Paduwan finish him?
Chen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Paduwan misses the jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Paduwan misses the target.
The fighters circling - Paduwan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Paduwan throws a jab when Chen was well out of range.
Chen tries to land a body kick
and Paduwan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chen's knee momentarily.
Chen seems to have recovered his senses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chen tries to keep at a distance but Paduwan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Paduwan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Chen is keeping busy.
Paduwan has Chen pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Chen is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Paduwan - that's hurt Chen badly! Oh, another knee lands and Chen is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Chen doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Darth Paduwan !
