The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanikawa moves out of range of the body kick.
Larsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tanikawa blocks a low kick nicely.
Larsen throws a low kick but Tanikawa avoids it.
Tanikawa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tanikawa shoots for a double leg takedown but Larsen sprawls well. He's pushed Tanikawa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Larsen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Tanikawa's face.
Tanikawa is looking to break free of the clinch but Larsen has double underhooks.
Larsen lands an elbow just above Tanikawa 's eye.
Larsen creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Tanikawa! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Larsen.
