Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dagonet McLoughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McLoughlin's choice of entrance music: Kutt Calhoun- Self Preservation . On his way into the cage it seems that BJ Penn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily BJ Penn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McLoughlin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Penn dodges the punch combination from McLoughlin.

Penn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McLoughlin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Penn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McLoughlin's efforts to push away.

McLoughlin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McLoughlin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Penn tumbling to the canvas! McLoughlin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Penn was done - good stoppage!
