Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kari Parisyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parisyen comes into the arena with Eye of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Parisyen wants to clinch up but Black keeps it at a distance.
Kari Parisyen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parisyen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Black shoots in for a double leg but Parisyen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Parisyen stuffs the takedown.
Black looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parisyen is fending him off so far but Black persists. Nope, Parisyen circles away and we're back to standing.
Kari Parisyen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Black.
Black swats away the attempt to clinch by Parisyen.
Parisyen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Black keeps the fight on the outside.
Black throws a low kick but Parisyen avoids it.
Black is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Parisyen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Black lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Parisyen at a distance.
Parisyen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parisyen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but Parisyen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Black shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Parisyen drives through with a takedown into Black's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Parisyen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Black keeping moving, preventing Parisyen from controlling successfully.

Black is looking for a triangle here but Parisyen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Black is not content to let Parisyen control the position.
Black manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black works his way to full guard. Good work.
Parisyen trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parisyen tries to free his leg and advance position but Black is retaining full guard.
Parisyen trying to control but Black is working from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black throws his legs up looking for a submission but Parisyen uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Parisyen has an Americana. Black didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Parisyen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Parisyen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
