The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepp takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Stepp content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Stepp swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Stepp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johansson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stepp has managed to get both his arms back between Johansson's legs - danger averted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Stepp will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johansson can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Stepp.
