The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Okiro counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lai tries to close the distance and clinch but Okiro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Okiro is trying to push Lai away but Lai has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Okiro walks away with a smile on his face. Lai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Okiro keeps the fight on the outside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lai. Okiro does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kuai Lai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Okiro finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
