The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Turner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White drops his hands momentarily and Turner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Turner throws a front kick aimed at White's knee but White avoids it well.
Turner cracks the inside of White's front leg.
Ike Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner walks into a jab.
White just misses with a punch to the body.
Turner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

White lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
White throws a jab but it's blocked by Turner.
White does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Turner might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Turner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
White's corner calls for a 1-2. White obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Turner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Turner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
White looks to move to half guard but instead Turner has passed into mount! Damn!

Turner throwing strikes but White bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
White wants to stand but Turner is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ike Turner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Turner does a little dance to reset his feet.

White throws out a loose jab but Turner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Turner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by White.
Horrible takedown by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by White which made him look bad.
A combination from Turner does no damage.
Turner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling White to score with a decent uppercut.
