Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Metzler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johannes Metzler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Lincoln!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincoln misses with the combination.
Lincoln connects with a high kick.
Metzler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lincoln tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Metzler is in Lincoln's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lincoln wants to stand but Metzler is controlling the position.
Lincoln being controlled here, momentarily.
Metzler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Metzler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Johannes Metzler wasn't doing enough on the ground.
No joy there for Lincoln, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Lincoln misses the target.
Lincoln gets caught flat footed, as Metzler shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lincoln wants to stand up but Metzler is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lincoln looks winded!
Metzler stays in close to Lincoln's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Metzler passes Lincoln's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Metzler performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Metzler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Metzler is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lincoln is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
