The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsunami tries for a takedown but Kroster circles away easily

and Kroster counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kroster slows the pace down in half guard.

Kroster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tsunami sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kroster closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tsunami might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tsunami tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kroster wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kroster lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tsunami down.

Tsunami is rocked!
Kroster cracks Tsunami with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kroster immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tsunami is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kroster!
