The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Rottie feints a jab promting Vega to slip. Rottie then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vega slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rottie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rottie wants to clinch up but Vega keeps it at a distance.

Rottie throws an overhand right that lands on Vega's shoulder, as Vega tries to avoid the shot.
Rottie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vega sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rottie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jeremy Vega showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Vega counters with a series of strikes. Rottie will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Vega counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rottie throws a hook but Vega avoids it easily.
Vega goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Rottie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vega is fending him off so far but Rottie persists. Nope, Vega circles away and we're back to standing.

Jeremy Vega comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vega has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
