Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirty Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dirty Randy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Smith!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randy swinging wildly here.

Smith rushes Randy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Randy wants a takedown but no success here.
Smith stops a takedown attempt from Randy.
Randy wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirty Randy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Randy prevents Smith from breaking the clinch.
Randy misses with a hook to the ribs.
Smith prevents the takedown attempt.

Randy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Randy misses with a few strikes there.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Randy.
Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for Randy on that attempt.
Randy works over Smith's head and body with a nice combination.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Randy moves away.
Randy throws a head kick that misses.

Randy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith takes a swing at Randy's ribcage but misses.
Smith blocks a head kick by Randy.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Randy stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Randy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Randy manages to avoid it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Randy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith throws a body punch but Randy moves out of range.

Randy shoots in and gets a takedown into Smith's guard.
Randy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Randy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Randy is stalling in the full guard.
Randy pushes down on Smith's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.

Randy stalling.
Smith tries to roll over but Randy keeps him under control.

Randy passes to full mount!

Randy unloads with some shots from mount but Smith bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smith has given up his back here. Will Randy look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Randy biding his time, controlling Smith.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dirty Randy dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Smith tries to keep at a distance but Randy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Smith stalling in the clinch but Randy improves position.

Randy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Smith is trying to keep an underhook but Randy manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Randy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Randy decides to stand and escape the position.

Randy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Randy wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith throws a predictable looking body shot

and Randy counters with a takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.
A lull in the action here as Randy stalls from top position.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Randy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Randy is working to tighten is grip on Smith's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smith has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Randy is really squeezing tight and eventually Smith passes out! Randy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
