Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between CJ Aldeberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, CJ Aldeberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kyle Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldeberg takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Babcock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aldeberg to the mat! Aldeberg manages to get full guard.
Babcock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Babcock working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Aldeberg's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aldeberg will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Babcock drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aldeberg dives on top into guard.

We're going to have a standup here because CJ Aldeberg wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Babcock stuffs the takedown attempt from Aldeberg. Aldeberg gets slowly back to his feet.
Aldeberg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Babcock tries to avoid it but Aldeberg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Babcock to the ground. Babcock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Babcock catches Aldeberg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Babcock connects with a body shot that sends Aldeberg's belly button to the back.

Babcock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aldeberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Babcock.

It looks like Kyle Babcock has been cut.
Babcock scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Aldeberg slips a jab and a cross from Babcock.
Aldeberg tries to clinch but Babcock is having none of it.
Aldeberg has a takedown stuffed.

Kyle Babcock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Babcock bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aldeberg's head.

Aldeberg shoots for a takedown but Babcock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Babcock is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Aldeberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Babcock.
Aldeberg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aldeberg wants it to stay on the feet.

Aldeberg is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Babcock wants to get up but he can't break Aldeberg's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Babcock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aldeberg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Babcock stalks Aldeberg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aldeberg's face. Aldeberg staggers backwards, shaken.


Aldeberg is rocked!
Babcock connects with a right that clearly hurt Aldeberg. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Babcock proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Aldeberg collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Babcock!
