Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amnuay Saenpong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shephard comes into the arena with You All Everybody blaring out of the sound system. Saenpong is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everyone Bleeds now - Hatebreed. Amnuay Saenpong will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Shephard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amnuay Saenpong!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saenpong misses with a kick to the body.
Shephard misses with a hook. Saenpong ducked under it nicely.
Saenpong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shephard manages to avoid it.

Saenpong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Saenpong has a closed guard, preventing Shephard from standing up.
Shephard landing some decent shots from guard.
Shephard wants to stand but Saenpong is controlling his posture from full guard.
Saenpong controls Shephard momentarily but Shephard frees himself.

Shephard controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Shephard is looking to stand up but Saenpong won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shephard slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Shephard tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Shephard tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
A lull in the action here as Shephard stalls from top position.

Shephard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saenpong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Shephard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shephard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like Amnuay Saenpong has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shephard tries to move to mount but Saenpong blocks the move with his legs.
Saenpong tries to improve position but can't.

Saenpong wants to control but Shephard postures up.

Shephard decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Saenpong.
Saenpong throws a head kick but Shephard moves out of range.
Shephard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Saenpong defends it nicely.

Shephard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shephard showed some decent athleticism there.

Shephard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saenpong is just riding it out for now. Shephard eventually gives up the hold.
Shephard slips a nice elbow through Saenpong's hands, connecting with Saenpong's forehead.

Shephard is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Shephard is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Shephard stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Saenpong to get to his feet.
Shephard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Saenpong defends it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice takedown defense from Saenpong. No joy for Shephard on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Shephard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Good leg kick by Saenpong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Saenpong's corner calls for a 1-2. Saenpong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Shephard lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Saenpong falls backwards - clearly groggy! Shephard dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Shephard!
Jack Shephard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
