McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Hall of Fame ft. will.i.am. Zamora is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nirvana - Lake of Fire. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire misses with a low kick.
McGuire throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
McGuire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Zamora looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Zamora throws a leg kick but McGuire sees it coming and moves out of range.

Zamora dives in and grabs McGuire's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGuire pushes down on Zamora's head and hops out.
Zamora closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
McGuire throws a sloppy head kick and Zamora moves out of range easily.
McGuire throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Zamora scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zamora cracks the inside of McGuire's front leg.

Zamora gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McGuire throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zamora.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McGuire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zamora - the referee stops the clock and McGuire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zamora. McGuire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Zander McGuire is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McGuire just misses with a punch to the body.
Zamora shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGuire defends it nicely.
Zamora moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That kick from Zamora tenderised McGuire's leg. McGuire is trying to keep his angry face on.
Zamora loads up on a big right hand but McGuire slips the punch.
McGuire chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zamora can pounce on him.
Zamora cracks McGuire with an open hand slap.

Zamora tries a head kick but it misses.
McGuire takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Zamora misses the jab.
Zamora fakes the leg kick and cracks McGuire in the body.

Zamora scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Zamora swings for the body but McGuire moves out of range.
Zamora connects with an inside leg kick.
Zamora has a takedown stuffed.
Zander McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Zamora.
McGuire lands with a kick to the ribs.

A bone on bone clash there as McGuire blocks the leg kick.
Zamora throws a nice inside leg kick.
Zamora closes the distance and clinches up with McGuire, looking for a takedown. Zamora pushes McGuire against the cage but McGuire circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zamora throws a lazy uppercut
and McGuire counters with an outside leg kick.
Zamora fails with a takedown attempt.
Zamora scores with a shot to the body.
Zamora has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGuire finds it's way round the side to connect with Zamora's head.
Zamora paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zamora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McGuire takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A looping hook to the body misses from McGuire. Zamora does a little dance to reset his feet.

A solid body kick from McGuire.
Zamora lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Zander McGuire has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McGuire rushes Zamora and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McGuire is working Zamora over against the cage.
McGuire tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McGuire has a couple of punches blocked by Zamora.
McGuire struggles to land a body shot inside as Zamora controls his hands.
Zamora can't find room to land a body shot as McGuire controls the action.
McGuire gets through Zamora's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Zamora fails to land.
McGuire blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zamora lands a right hand.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from McGuire.
McGuire lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Zamora backwards.
McGuire creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Zamora's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Zamora drops to his knees and McGuire pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
