Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maverick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randal Cooter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Little Secrets - Passion Pit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooter connects with a solid leg kick.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cooter was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Cooter is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cooter is looking to slow Jones down with leg kicks.

Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.

Cooter wants to control but Jones postures up.
Jones has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cooter!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cooter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cooter chips away with some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cooter throws a big right hand that misses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randal Cooter dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters circle momentarily. Cooter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cooter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cooter keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Cooter pushes him off.
Cooter throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.
Jones tries to clinch there but Cooter circles away.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Cooter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones wants to clinch up but Cooter keeps it at a distance.
Cooter lands with a nice body punch.
Good exchange - Cooter coming out on top.
Cooter explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones moves out of range as Cooter throws a body kick.

Jones is rocked!
Jones glances at the clock... BAM! Cooter nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jones crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jones is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
