The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beucher wants to clinch.
Beucher looks to score with a jab to the body but Garcilazo is just out of range.
Beucher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Garcilazo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Beucher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beucher wants it to stay on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Garcilazo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Beucher doesn't seem phased though.

Garcilazo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beucher was covering up waiting for the punch and Garcilazo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
