Moore has chosen Richard Wagner - The ride of the Valkyries as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dirk Janssen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Moore's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Janssen counters by moving into the clinch.

Moore breaks the clinch.
Moore throws a sloppy head kick
and Janssen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Moore closes the distance looking to clinch

and Janssen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Janssen.
Moore lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Moore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Janssen.
Moore throws a predictable looking body shot
and Janssen counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like David Moore has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moore tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Janssen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Moore misses with a hook
and Janssen counters with a nice kick to the body.
Moore throws a leg kick
and Janssen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Janssen motions for Moore to come forward. Janssen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Janssen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Janssen counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Moore off his feet! Moore crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Moore isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Janssen screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dirk Janssen!
