Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Ding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Holcomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ding's entrance music is Mortal Kombat. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holcomb gets tackled into the cage by Ding. Ding maintains the clinch.
Holcomb tries to pull guard but Ding won't allow it.
Nice body punch from Ding.
Ding tries to stall but Holcomb uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Holcomb takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Harvey Holcomb has been cut.

Holcomb drags the fight down to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ding tries to free his leg and advance position but Holcomb is retaining full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Dick Ding wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ding swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Holcomb is looking for a sweep. Ding is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ding throws a strike but Holcomb avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holcomb isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ding stacks Holcomb on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ding!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The cut above Harvey Holcomb's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Holcomb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ding walks away with a smile on his face. Holcomb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well Ding has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dick Ding opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
