Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Santos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Choosen One by Forever in Terror. Honey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cruising in Miami by Bass 305 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Honey's head.
A left lands for Santos.
A looping hook to the body misses from Honey. Santos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Santos swings away with a body shot that misses
and Honey counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Santos thinking.
Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Honey manages to avoid it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Honey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Santos is really struggling to control Honey but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Santos is stalling here. Honey is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Santos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Honey has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Santos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Honey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Honey there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Honey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Honey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santos.
Santos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Honey pinned against the cage. Honey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Santos cracks Honey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Honey throws a leg kick which misses Santos's front leg but catches the back leg as Santos tries to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Santos will probably get the nod.

Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Honey tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Honey to the ground. Honey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hugh Honey seems to be getting the better of the standup.
