And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richman throws a head kick that misses.
Richman throws a jab but it's blocked by Thompson.
Richman throws a sloppy head kick and Thompson moves out of range easily.
Richman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Richman enables Thompson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Richman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Thompson stands and throws Richman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Thompson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Richman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Richman connects with a high kick.
Thompson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Richman is trying to defend but Thompson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Richman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Thompson!

Michael Thompson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
