The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson avoids the head kick by Daniels.
Thompson looks to land a body kick but Daniels moved away.
Daniels shoots in looking for a takedown but Thompson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniels's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Thompson lands a glancing blow to the side of Daniels's head.
Thompson swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniels.
Daniels has a takedown stuffed.

and Thompson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Oooooh!!! Thompson has knocked Daniels down with a huge combo! Thompson steps away and waves a wobbly Daniels back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
