The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugz moves to clinch but Rutecki breaks away

and Rutecki counters by clinching up.
Lugz is looking for a takedown.

Rutecki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rutecki misses with a looping right.
Rutecki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Lugz 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rutecki throws a series of punches but Lugz moves out of range.
Rutecki fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lugz checks it well.
Rutecki moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Rutecki lands a nice hook to Lugz's body. Lugz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rutecki lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lugz looks winded!
Rutecki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Rutecki. Those never looked like landing.

Rutecki fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lugz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lugz looks to clinch but Rutecki throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lugz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Dexter Rutecki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
