The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diamond shoots in looking for a takedown. Helminen tries to sprawl out of it but Diamond keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Helminen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Diamond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Helminen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Diamond sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Helminen is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Helminen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Diamond presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Helminen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Diamond.

Diamond is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Helminen is forced to tap! Great finish!
