Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amnuay Saenpong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fabolous - 'Breathe'. Saenpong has chosen Everyone Bleeds now - Hatebreed as his entrance music. Amnuay Saenpong will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amnuay Saenpong!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saenpong to the mat! Saenpong manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Li gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Li tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Saenpong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Saenpong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Saenpong takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Amnuay Saenpong has been cut.
Saenpong circles away from the clinch attempt
and Saenpong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Saenpong jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Li forces Saenpong back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Li jumps guard but Saenpong stands there with Li around his waist. Li gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Li jumps guard and drags Saenpong to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Li wants to get back to his feet but Saenpong is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Li might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Li wants to sweep but no luck.
Li is looking to stand up but Saenpong isn't so interested in that idea.
Saenpong wants to stand and escape but instead Li has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Li wants to stand but Saenpong has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Li not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Li wants to get up but he can't break Saenpong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li wants to control from the top but Saenpong keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Li stands up and waves to Saenpong to follow him.
Saenpong looks winded!

Li fails in his attempt to clinch.
Li wants to clinch up but Saenpong keeps it at a distance.
A combination from Li does no damage.

Li is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Saenpong's half guard.
Li tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Li wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saenpong keeps working.

Li decides to stand up.
Saenpong slips a jab and a cross from Li.
Li rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saenpong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Li walks into a straight right hand from Saenpong.
Saenpong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch but Saenpong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
William Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saenpong as he jumps to the side.

Li drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saenpong has a closed guard, preventing Li from standing up.
Li trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Li would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Li wants to stand up but Saenpong is controlling the position.

Li wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Saenpong uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Li wants to control from the top but Saenpong keeps moving.
Saenpong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
