Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Godfathers A Chode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Eagle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chode shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eagle as he avoids it easily.

Eagle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Eagle. No joy for Chode on that attempt.
Chode is looking to clinch but Eagle is avoiding it.
Chode looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eagle is fending him off so far but Chode persists. Nope, Eagle circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chode changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eagle tries to avoid it but Chode manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eagle to the ground. Eagle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chode ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Chode throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eagle's waist but Eagle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chode off to one side.

Eagle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chode. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Eagle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chode with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Eagle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
