The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Jefferson Patterson has been cut.
Patterson shoots for a takedown but Fed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Patterson looks to land a combination but Fed avoids it well.
Fed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fed cracks Patterson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fed swings for the body but Patterson moves out of range.
Fed scores with a punch to the head.
Roman Fed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patterson shoots in but Fed avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fed throws a series of punches but Patterson avoids them all with ease.
Fed lands the left hand.
Fed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fed connects with a right that clearly hurt Patterson. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Fed proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Patterson collapses and taps out under the pressure!
