Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Wells Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Commodore Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wells Dengel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Commodore Perry!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel throws a leg kick which misses Perry's front leg but catches the back leg as Perry tries to avoid it.
Dengel throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dengel misses with a kick to the body.
Dengel misses with a body shot.
Perry looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Commodore Perry has been cut.
Perry stuns Dengel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Perry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wells Dengel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dengel misses with a head kick.
Perry scores with a jab to the head.
A swing and a miss from Dengel.
Perry keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dengel.
Dengel lands a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Perry. Dengel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Perry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dengel's head backwards.
Perry dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A big right from Dengel misses.
A low kick from Dengel misses
and Perry counters with a left and a right that stings Dengel.
Perry scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A jab lands there for Perry.
Dengel keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Perry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dengel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Perry connects with a leg kick. Dengel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Perry connects with an inside leg kick.
Dengel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Perry.
Dengel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Perry is out of range.
Dengel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Dengel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A nice leg kick lands there from Perry.

Perry drives through and clinches with Dengel against the ropes.
Perry swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dengel tries to break free but Perry pushes him back against the ropes.
Nice body punch from Perry - that landed with a thud.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perry lands a nice uppercut.
Perry missing with knees to the body.
Perry connects with a knee to the head.
Perry lands a nice elbow.
Perry tries to land knees in the clinch but Dengel avoids the damage to the body.
Dengel is trying to break free.
Dengel is looking to break free of the clinch but Perry has double underhooks.
Dengel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dengel connects with a high kick.
Dengel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Perry throws a looping overhand right but Dengel ducks down to avoid it.
Perry clinches.
Perry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dengel thows a body shot but no joy.
Perry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dengel misses with an uppercut. Perry saw that one coming.
Perry clinches up with Dengel and pushes him back against the ropes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Commodore Perry will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Commodore Perry's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Perry lands a jab to Dengel's midsection.
A cross from Perry lands.
Dengel tries a head kick but it misses.
Perry rushes Dengel and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Perry breaks from the clinch.
Dengel throws a sloppy head kick and Perry moves out of range easily.
Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dengel manages to avoid it.
Commodore Perry seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Perry jabs at Dengel's body.
Perry moves out of range as Dengel strikes.
Perry misses with a body shot.
Dengel ducks under a wild hook from Perry.
Perry looks to throw the jab but Dengel is out of range.
Perry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dengel moves away.
Dengel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dengel. That's going to slow Perry down.
Perry keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dengel.
Perry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dengel.

Perry misses the jab.
Dengel cracks Perry with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A jab from Dengel finds it's way through Perry's defenses.
Dengel throws a leg kick which misses Perry's front leg but catches the back leg as Perry tries to avoid it.
Dengel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Perry is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Dengel throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Perry is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wells Dengel!
During a confident post fight interview, Wells Dengel thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
