PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kosti Lom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Claymore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lom comes to the ring accompanied by Bahh Tee. Claymore has chosen Future World Music - Fight as his entrance music. Andy Claymore told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Claymore!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Claymore circles away quickly and effectively.
Claymore checks the leg kick nicely there.
Claymore misses with a jab, cross combination.
Claymore blocks a low kick nicely.
Lom connects with a good right hand that stumbles Claymore. Claymore circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Andy Claymore has been cut.
Claymore throws a leg kick

and Lom counters by moving into the clinch.
Claymore avoiding damage as Lom throws knees to the body.
Lom misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Claymore.

Claymore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Claymore goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Kosti Lom has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Claymore takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Claymore lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lom has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lom and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lom throws a head kick that misses.

Lom has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lom lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Claymore backwards.
Lom throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A nice left hand lands by Lom.
Lom lands a nice elbow.

Lom lands with a right to the head.

Lom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Claymore throws a wild body kick that Lom sees coming a mile off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Claymore. Lom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lom tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Claymore swivels and escapes.
Lom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lom throws the left hand but Claymore avoids the punch easily.
Claymore throws a sloppy head kick and Lom moves out of range easily.
Claymore throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Claymore misses with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Claymore. Lom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lom tries to clinch up but Claymore circles away and keeps his distance.
Claymore swings for the body but Lom moves out of range.
Lom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Claymore lands with a straight right. Lom didn't see that one coming.
Lom throws out a loose jab but Claymore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Claymore takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Claymore avoids the head kick by Lom.
Lom is looking to clinch but Claymore is avoiding it.
Claymore looks to land a left hand but Lom moved out of range nicely.
Lom throws a chopping leg kick but Claymore manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lom dodges the punch combination from Claymore.
Lom scores with a jab.
Claymore needs to keep his hands up - Lom had a free shot at his head there.
Claymore is looking to land body kicks.

Claymore gets tackled into the ropes by Lom. Lom maintains the clinch.
Claymore takes an elbow to the temple.

Lom breaks from the clinch.
Lom connects with a solid leg kick.
Lom turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lom misses with a takedown attempt - Claymore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lom looks to score with a jab to the body but Claymore is just out of range.
Lom cracks Claymore's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Claymore slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Lom can do further damage! This one is done, son!
