Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samor Kanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Mccoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kanen comes to the cage accompanied by BURN ONE DOWN. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samor Kanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Mccoy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccoy lunges at Kanen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kanen's hand.
It looks like Samor Kanen has been cut.
Mccoy lands a right hook to the body.
Mccoy throws the left hand but Kanen avoids the punch easily.
Kanen cracks Mccoy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That kick from Mccoy tenderised Kanen's leg. Kanen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mccoy misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kanen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mccoy.

Kanen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mccoy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mccoy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kanen fails to land with a series of punches.

A swing and a miss from Mccoy.
Mccoy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

and Kanen counters with a thumping low kick.
Mccoy misses with a series of wild punches.
Kanen cracks Mccoy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mccoy loads up on a big right hand but Kanen slips the punch.
Mccoy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mccoy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mccoy throws a low kick, looking for Kanen's leg but Kanen calmly moves out of range.

Mccoy scores with a head kick. Kanen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kanen dives in and grabs Mccoy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mccoy pushes down on Kanen's head and hops out.

Kanen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mccoy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Samor Kanen will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Mccoy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mccoy.

Mccoy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Mccoy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
