PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Geodude Golem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hornet Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Geo dude geo geo dude. Ghost comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kickboxer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghost throws a jab but it's blocked by Golem.
Golem scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A decent looking cross lands there for Golem.
Ghost jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ghost thows a body shot but no joy.
Golem swinging wildly here.
Ghost misses with a kick to the body.
Ghost keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Golem.
A lazy left from Golem finds it's target.
Ghost throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Golem sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ghost throws out a loose jab but Golem uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ghost's jab looks to have found its range, popping Golem under the eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ghost!
Golem takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ghost throws a body punch but Golem moves out of range.
Golem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

An inside leg kick from Golem misses.
Golem shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A big right from Ghost misses.
Golem throws a body punch but Ghost moves out of range.
Ghost throws out a powerful jab.
Ghost misses with a double jab.
A swing and a miss from Ghost.
Golem walks into a stiff left hand from Ghost.
Golem moves out of range of the strikes.
Ghost chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Golem can pounce on him.

Golem fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ghost has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ghost misses with a lunging right hand
and Golem counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Golem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Golem throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ghost sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Golem throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Golem fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Golem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Golem feints a jab promting Ghost to slip. Golem then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ghost slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Golem looks to land a right hand but Ghost moved out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Golem. Ghost does a little dance to reset his feet.
Golem throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ghost throws a hook to the side of Golem's head but Golem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ghost blocks a jab.
Ghost throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A chopping leg kick lands by Golem.
Ghost misses with an uppercut.
Ghost misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Golem.
Ghost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Golem was well out of range. Poor timing from Ghost.
Ghost drops his hands momentarily and Golem takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Golem swings for the body but Ghost moves out of range.
Golem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ghost throws out the jab.
Ghost moves out of range as Golem strikes.
Golem keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Golem fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ghost misses the shot to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Golem. Ghost shrugs it off though.
Golem pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ghost is out of range and Golem settles back down.
The crowd cheers as Golem lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ghost doesn't seem phased though.
Geodude Golem is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Golem scores with a big combo that sends Ghost crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Ghost flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Golem jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
