Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Lucky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Kingsman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Lucky lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kingsman doesn't seem phased though.

Lucky drops Kingsman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kingsman looks back up at him and smiles so Lucky waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Kyle Kingsman has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lucky sends Kingsman crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lucky is motioning to the referee to let Kingsman up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kingsman is rocked!

Kingsman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kingsman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kingsman is still in real trouble! Can Lucky finish him?
Kingsman tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Kingsman seems to have recovered his senses.
Kingsman wants to stand but Lucky has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Kingsman tries to stand but Lucky is controlling from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kyle Kingsman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lucky has managed to clinch.

Lucky misses with a body punch.
Lucky lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lucky lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kingsman backwards.
Lucky on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lucky's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lucky drops Kingsman onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kingsman is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Lucky throws a big uppercut that drops Kingsman! More strikes from Lucky and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kingsman lies dazed against the cage as Lucky celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Lucky!
Alex Lucky made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Thanks for a fine fight... I was Lucky today.....and I will be Lucky tomorrow...and for ever after...'.
