Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riley Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Stein is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Riley Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Stein!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stein throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Stein shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stein showed some decent athleticism there.

Stein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stein is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stein is working away from the top position though.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stein is trying to maintain the position but Jackson is very close to passing his half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jackson wants to control but Stein is keeping him busy.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stein is on top in guard.

Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stein manages to get himself to full guard.

Stein is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Stein has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.

Stein is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jackson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Stein has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jackson regains guard immediately.

John Stein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Stein passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jackson!
BOOM! Stein connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Stein sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Stein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape.

Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.

Stein has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jackson's face.

The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jackson tries to hold on but Stein pushes him away.

Stein is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Stein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stein might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jackson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

John Stein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
