PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JR Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by Trashed and Scattered - Avenged Sevenfold. Adams has chosen Satan Is Real as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Jamie Walker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jamie Walker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Walker misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Walker, right into the meat.
Adams tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Walker looks to land a combination but Adams avoids it well.
Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Walker feints a jab promting Adams to slip. Walker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Adams slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like JR Adams has been cut.
Walker throws a leg kick which misses Adams's front leg but catches the back leg as Adams tries to avoid it.

Adams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walker sprawls well initially but Adams persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Walker moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Walker throws a leg kick but Adams sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Adams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.
Jamie Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Adams takes a swing at Walker's ribcage but misses.
Adams tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
No joy there for Walker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Adams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Walker's half guard.
Adams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Adams postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Adams pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
