Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Babel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Iglesias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Babel.
Iglesias throws a looping overhand right but Babel ducks down to avoid it.
Babel fails to land the takedown.
Iglesias throws a jab but it's blocked by Babel.
Babel tries for a takedown but Iglesias sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boris Babel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Iglesias lands a nice shot to the body.
Iglesias throws a series of punches but Babel moves out of range.
Babel fails with the takedown.
Babel is breathing heavily.
Iglesias looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Babel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Iglesias bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Babel's head backwards.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Iglesias and Babel goes tumbling to the canvas! Iglesias follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Babel is rocked!

Iglesias seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Iglesias is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Babel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Babel tries to get out of the position.

Iglesias wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Babel uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Iglesias wanted to stand there but Babel had control of the position.

Babel pushes Iglesias off and scrambles back to his feet.
Babel shoots in but no luck this time.
Iglesias rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Babel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Iglesias bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Babel's head.

Babel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Iglesias batters Babel with a massive right followed by a huge left! Babel is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Iglesias lands a final crushing right hand to drop Babel to the mat with a gruesome thud! Iglesias is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
