The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Crain lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Michael Johnson has been cut.

Crain unloads a knee to the mid-section. Johnson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Johnson has Crain pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Crain manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Crain pulls guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Crain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Crain manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Crain's guard.

Crain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Crain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

Johnson trying to control but Crain is working from the bottom.
Crain controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.
Johnson passes Crain's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Johnson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Crain is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
