The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Anthony scores with a shot to the body.

Anthony drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cyrus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anthony has Cyrus in his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Anthony has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cyrus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Anthony is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cyrus drops back looking for a leg! Anthony is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anthony manages to kick Cyrus off! Cyrus jumps back into Anthony's guard.

Cyrus drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Anthony dives on top into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Anthony closes the distance and clinches up with Cyrus, looking for a takedown. Anthony pushes Cyrus against the cage but Cyrus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anthony shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cyrus but Cyrus pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cyrus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Anthony's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Cyrus is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Anthony scores with a couple of nice shots.
Anthony winds up and cracks Cyrus with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anthony drops an elbow to the side of Cyrus's head.
Anthony lands a big elbow - Cyrus is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Anthony!
