The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Carnivale.
Rivers looks to land a left hand but Carnivale moved out of range nicely.
Carnivale throws a shot from downtown. Rivers moves away and avoids it.
Carnivale could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Carnivale throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rivers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carnivale.
Rivers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rivers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carnivale. That did some damage!
Nice defenses there by Rivers.

Rivers feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carnivale sprawling to the canvas! Carnivale rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rivers finish him?!

It looks like Felicity Carnivale has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivers throws a nice outside leg kick.
Carnivale is breathing heavily.
Carnivale has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rivers.
Carnivale keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rivers.
Carnivale moves out of range as Rivers strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carnivale leaves his chin hanging out and Rivers seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Carnivale crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
