Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christian Kane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremy Crusher!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crusher motions for Kane to come forward. Crusher throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Crusher throws a head kick but Kane moves out of range.
Kane tries to land a front kick but Crusher steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Crusher misses with a body shot.
Kane on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kane motions for Crusher to come forward. Kane throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kane scoring well with a low kick there.
Crusher has a takedown stuffed.
Crusher takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kane throws a nice outside leg kick.
Crusher misses with a shot to the body
and Kane counters with a stiff right hand.
Crusher throws a leg kick that misses.
Kane throws a body punch but Crusher moves out of range.
Kane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Crusher throws a sloppy head kick and Kane moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crusher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Crusher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kane paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crusher on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crusher.
Crusher looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Crusher will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Crusher tries to land a leg kick but Kane saw it coming and moves away.

Crusher closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kane quickly recovers to half guard.
Crusher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kane is refusing to be controlled, as Crusher sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane is pressing down on Crusher's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crusher is one step ahead there.
Crusher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Crusher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kane wants to sweep here but Crusher controlling him for the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crusher pushes down on Kane's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kane moves into full guard.
Crusher throwing strikes but missing.
Crusher scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crusher advances to half guard.
Crusher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kane is staying active underneath Crusher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Crusher lands a nice short elbow.
Kane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Crusher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Crusher's back!
Crusher wants to escape the position.
Crusher breaks Kane's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Crusher slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crusher missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crusher looking to pass the guard.
Crusher is looking to work some ground and pound but Kane has wrist control.
Crusher throwing strikes from guard but Kane blocks nicely.
Kane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crusher on the ground.

Crusher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Crusher postures up.

Crusher drops back looking for a leg! Kane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kane manages to kick Crusher off! Crusher jumps back into Kane's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kane looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeremy Crusher dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Crusher is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Crusher wants to clinch up but Kane keeps it at a distance.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crusher.
Crusher misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Crusher blocks a head kick by Kane.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crusher. Kane does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown by Crusher or perhaps it was just good defense by Kane which made him look bad.
Christian Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Crusher.
Kane stuffs the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for Crusher on that attempt.

Crusher shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Crusher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crusher works his way into full mount!
Crusher looking to finish Kane with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kane!
Crusher avoids the attempt from Kane to control.
Crusher sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Kane takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Crusher swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kane is now in Crusher's guard. A big mistake from Crusher there, giving up the dominant position!

Crusher has his feet on Kane's thighs here. He's pushed Kane off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kane screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jeremy Crusher!
