Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Future (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Mission (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Future comes to the cage accompanied by Menor do Chapa - Humildade e Disciplina. Mission has chosen Rodeo Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mission connects with a looping right hand.
Future takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mission throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Future sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mission falls off balance throwing a combination
and Future counters with a nice uppercut.
Future takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sid Mission seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mission ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Future moves away.
Future tests Mission's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mission swings widly with a right hand
and Mission takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mission throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Future throws the left hand but Mission avoids the punch easily.

Future pushes off an throws an elbow but Mission leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Future comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Future is pressed up against the cage. Mission has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Future down to the mat. Future avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mission shoots for a double leg takedown but Future sprawls well. He's pushed Mission's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mission gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mission feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Futures jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

John Future has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sid Mission.

Mission throws a body punch but Future moves out of range.

Future has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mission is working away from the top position though.

Future is in trouble now - Mission has advanced to mount!
Mission takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mission avoids the attempt from Future to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Future is bucking up trying to escape but Mission cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Mission catches Future with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Future rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mission moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Future counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Future throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Mission tries for a takedown but Future sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mission dives in and grabs Future's left leg, looking for a takedown. Future pushes down on Mission's head and hops out.

Mission shoots in for a double leg but Future sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Future connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Future tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mission paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mission feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Future is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Future fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mission manages to avoid it.

Sid Mission showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Mission throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Future stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Future wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Future.
Well Mission has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
