PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Antunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ervilha Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Antunes persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.

Antunes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Antunes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Antunes has hold of Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Antunes is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
