Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bonhomme Sept Heures (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ThunderStruck. Sept Heures has chosen Monster Mash as his entrance music. Bonhomme Sept Heures will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bonhomme Sept Heures!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sept Heures throws a sloppy head kick

and Storm counters with a shoot takedown. Sept Heures fights it but they end up in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but Sept Heures is retaining full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Storm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sept Heures is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Storm, into his guard.
Sept Heures would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bonhomme Sept Heures hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Storm circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sept Heures lands a nice leg kick that just misses Storm's sensitive parts.

Storm feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Storm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sept Heures swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Storm wants to pass the guard but Sept Heures is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Storm drops back looking for a leg! Sept Heures is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sept Heures manages to kick Storm off! Storm jumps back into Sept Heures's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Storm will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Storm takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Storm keeps the fight on the outside.

Sept Heures darts in and clinches Storm up against the cage.
Storm is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sept Heures gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Storm closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Storm lands in his opponent's guard.

Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sept Heures manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Storm is trying to drag Sept Heures to the mat but Sept Heures just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Storm bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sept Heures's guard.
