Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Blanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanks misses with an attempted mid kick.
Blanks throws a low kick but Edwards moves out of range easily.
Blanks looks for the body kick but Edwards saw that one coming.
Blanks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Blanks throws a low kick but Edwards avoids it.
Blanks throws a head kick that misses.
Blanks misses with a kick to the body.
Blanks tries a head kick but it misses.
Blanks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Edwards on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Blanks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Edwards takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Blanks takes a swing at Edwards's ribcage but misses.
Blanks throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
Blanks fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Edwards is out of range.
Blanks tests Edwards's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Blanks pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Blanks throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
Blanks throws a lazy body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A head kick by Blanks misses
and Edwards counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A clash of legs there as Edwards blocks the low kick.
A head kick from Blanks lands but Edwards takes it in his stride.
Blanks tries to land a leg kick but Edwards saw it coming and moves away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Blanks misses with a wild body shot.
Billy Blanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blanks misses with a head kick.
Blanks throws out a leg kick but Edwards moves out of range and Blanks only half commits.
Edwards's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blanks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Edwards scrambles back to his feet.
Edwards on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Blanks. Blanks obviously looking to wear him down.
Blanks takes a swing at Edwards's ribcage but misses.
Blanks tries to land a front kick but Edwards steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Blanks connects with a right hand. Edwards shakes it off.

Blanks misses with a low kick as Edwards jumps back.
Blanks connects with an inside leg kick.
Blanks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blanks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blanks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Blanks throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Blanks. Edwards does a little dance to reset his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blanks scores with a push kick.
Blanks tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blanks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Blanks.
Blanks pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Blanks throws a leg kick which misses Edwards's front leg but catches the back leg as Edwards tries to avoid it.

Blanks lands a left and a right that send Edwards crashing to the mat, dazed. Blanks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Mark Edwards has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blanks.
A lazy left from Blanks finds it's target.

Edwards is rocked!
Edwards blocks a head kick by Blanks.
Oh Edwards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Edwards is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Blanks moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Blanks!
Post fight, Billy Blanks stared into the camera and said 'Wana go for a third Jack? Didn't think so... hey Leopold do I have to call you out again!? Stop being a pussy and sign the contract boy!! Blanks v Stotch... or are you scared?'.
