The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drury keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Drury is looking to chop away at Con's legs.

Con shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drury but Drury pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Con is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Con is pressing down on Drury's thigh, looking to free his foot. Drury is holding on for now.

Con is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Con is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Drury is just riding it out for now. Con eventually gives up the hold.

Con drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Con jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
