The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva tries to get to full guard but Alves has control of the leg.
Silva tries to kick Alves off but Alves keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Silva tries to roll over but Alves keeps him under control.
