Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ming Xin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sallah Alcoubra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xin comes to the cage accompanied by Chinese Athem. The crowd seem to be enjoying Alcoubra's choice of entrance music: Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ming Xin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sallah Alcoubra!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin avoids the body shot from Alcoubra.
Alcoubra swinging wilding here.
Alcoubra on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Xin throws a jab when Alcoubra was well out of range.
Alcoubra lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
No joy there for Alcoubra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Xin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Alcoubra is trying to improve his position.
Xin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Alcoubra knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Alcoubra is being controlled here.
Alcoubra tries to improve position but can't.
Xin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Alcoubra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Xin advances to full mount.
Alcoubra tries to reverse the position but Xin maintains control.
Alcoubra wants to try and get back to his feet.
Xin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Alcoubra is now in Xin's guard. A big mistake from Xin there, giving up the dominant position!
Xin keeping moving, preventing Alcoubra from controlling successfully.
Alcoubra is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Xin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alcoubra is looking to defend but Xin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alcoubra! Xin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alcoubra taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ming Xin!
