PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Dehaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralte Bentea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dehaz comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove It). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralte Bentea!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bentea changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dehaz tries to avoid it but Bentea manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dehaz to the ground. Dehaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dehaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bentea has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bentea takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The referee asks Dehaz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dehaz prefers to stall for the moment though.

Dehaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bentea eats them both and turns towards Dehaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
