PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ze Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Reaper gets caught flat footed, as Leone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Reaper looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leone is one step ahead there.

Leone is working Reaper over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Leone stands up over Reaper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Reaper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leone loads up on a big left hand. Reaper felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Leone looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Reaper can't hide his disappointment, as Leone celebrates the victory.
